UPSCALE, QUALITY HOME WITH LANE RANCH AMENITIES!
Recently purchased and furnished/outfitted by its new owners in summer 2018, this 3 bedroom/3 bathroom deluxe quality free-standing home in the desirable Lane Ranch neighborhood just a couple of miles south of Ketchum has lots to offer for a great Sun Valley visit, be it for a long weekend during the “shoulder” seasons or an extended multi-month stay in winter or summer. Upscale quality. Lane Ranch amenities. Close to Ketchum and Baldy. What’s not to like!?!
The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood (no “through” streets) with mature landscaping and nice exterior patios and decks. The interior décor is upscale “Pottery Barn” or “Pier 1” style, purchased by the new owners for both “form” and “function.” The living/dining/kitchen is an open floor plan, great for hanging out and relaxing, with hard wood floors, vaulted ceilings, and has access to exterior patios off the living room and a deck with a gas BBQ just off the kitchen. A useful cold room front door entry opens into the living room. Between the master suite and the rest of the house is the guest master suite that has very flexible bedding . . . two twin beds that can also be very effectively “bridged” into a king bed (when “bridged” correctly with the right equipment and bedding, yes, the king bed is very comfortable!) . . . providing ultimate bed versatility for different families and groups! And, the full en suite bathroom has what you need, including a single sink vanity, commode, a tub/shower with stone tiles, and again, heated stone flooring.
The 3rd bedroom is upstairs over the garage, a large suite that is a great place for the kids, including lots of beds: a bunk bed (twin on top, double on the bottom), another double bed, and a sofa sleeper, too! Throw in a big flat screen TV, a key board for “music-ing” around, a large walk in closet, and a big en suite bathroom with double sink vanity and a tile-and-glass shower makes for the perfect space for the kids . . . all to themselves!
The house is great, but when you include the Lane Ranch community amenities, it takes the entire package over the top! The entire Lane Ranch neighborhood is professionally landscaped in the summer, perfect for casual (or brisk!) walking. A short distance from the house is the club house facility with a swimming pool and hot tub and volley ball court and tennis courts and streams and ponds and lawns in the summertime. And, with snow in the winter, the large hot tub is great for relaxing after skiing. And all of this is just a couple of miles south of Ketchum’s fabulous shopping and dining and the River Run access to world-famous Bald Mountain. Or, going up and around through Elkhorn Village, the property is just a few miles from family-friendly Dollar Mountain and the Sun Valley Village just beyond.
